IN HIS TIME NOT MINE

So, I rushed ahead when God told us to wait, I didn't listen to this simply instruction. In my hurrying I made noticeable errors, Therefore I now have to retrace my steps. As I walk along now taking my time,I see the scattered mistakes lying on the ground.
Slowly retrieving them, putting them safely in my pocket. I carry them back home, safely laying them out on my work station. Before I set out to correct these damaged words, I remembered to pray and ask God to guide and to me.

Here I am sat rearranging, proof-reading and speaking them out loud. In the silence I hear the lord again clearly speak. I intently listen, he says 'let me take the pen and let me write the things you need to hear and share.'  I obey my Father's will and recieve his Holy Spirit. And again I share His words, love through the creative things I write with his guiding hand on my pen. This is His gift to me to receive and to share. This time I am doing it in His strength - especially today when I am weak for doing it in my own strength.

My writer's prayer to 'Christ my King' is a plea for inspiration, clarity, guidance and patience in the craft of writing. To receive help in finding the right words, expressing ideas effectively, and using writing for good. I ask my Heavenly Father for courage to write, and the wisdom to understand. And ultimately giving Him all the praise, glory and thanks.

I am thankful for the understanding of friends who are waiting and praying with me for the revised copy of the book. They haven't judged me but encouraged me to try again. They've reminded me I'm not writing for myself but I am writing for the Lord: He alone has gifted me with the talent to write. God makes everything beautiful in his time.

God makes all things beautiful in His time" things happen in their own divinely appointed time and that what may seem chaotic or imperfect now will eventually be revealed as beautiful and purposeful. We trust in God's timing and the belief that even difficult experiences can contribute to a larger, beautiful outcome. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, it  states, "He has made everything beautiful in its time". God is working in all aspects of our life, and while the full picture may not be immediately apparent, there is a divine plan and purpose behind everything. This is something I must heed in the future of my writing and any potential book I may desire to publish.

The newer version of my 'Prolific Poetess' will be available soon. For the moment I just need to lean into Jesus for strength and rest. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, those who have already purchased a copy of the book.

Thank you for listening to this old girl rambling. If you wish you can leave me a comment below.

God bless
