*NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR; The story you are about to read is written as a fictional story and includes Alice a fictional character.*

Alice scanned the local book fair, at a local writers convention, which was full of impressive looking books. There sat a space where Alice book should have been, yet Alice felt it wouldn't fit with the rest. Because looking back at Alice, where many fancy titles and bright fancy covers. Alice, felt their's felt so thin and bounded in a dull cover. So, Alice's book remained hidden within her bag, unheard and unseen.

Alice felt they needed more time, transferring from writer to author. For now Alice felt that her written words didn't belong here. So, Alice gathered her thoughts and slipped quietly out the door. Yet Alice felt the free coffee and biscuits where good. Travelling home, Alice's over thinking mind kicked in; around the pitfalls and reality of being a writer to the possibility becoming an author. Was Alice willing to let her words be placed into the hands strangers to critise and be rewritten.

Alice knew they had much work to do to reach author perfection. Alice thought to herself, maybe not today but some time, they could become a best selling author. Yet for now Alice keeps their words journaled and hidden from from public view. Has Alice lost their joy and purpose for written words, will a book ever transpire; only time will tell.
