"This panto is not all it seems 
Someone's messed up the scenes
They'll be no fairytale dreams
In this very unusual pantomime.

Cruella de Vil became unwell
Buttons got tied up in the cotton
Jack went of the beanstalk track
In this very unusual pantomime

Cinderella fell for the wrong fella
Mother goose decided to cut loose
Whittington booked into the Hilton
In this very unusual pantomime.

Robin Hood, the rapper in a hoodie
Peter Pan flew first class to Japan
Snow White took a fatefull bite
In this very unusual pantomime.

But still they manage to rhyme
Even when they misplaced a line
For an audience 'call-and-response'
In this very unusual pantomime."

TEN YEARS A WRITER

  T oday I’m celebrating ten years since the start of my writing journey. It all started back in 2015. I had already many years of creativity behind me especially card making and embroidery. I never even considered ten years later I would become the writer I am today. It all started back in 2015, circumstances at the time weren’t great and often my frustrations would often be active or verbal. Several people in my home church including the pastor at the time Derek Hughes encouraged me to keep a written journal. It really helped me pen my frustrations down on paper than outwardly getting my frustrations out on others. During this season I really felt the presence of Jesus helping and guiding me. REUNITED WITH THE FATHER

I was sat in my lounge this morning and I suddenly started thinking about being 'reunited with the Father.' Not so much our earthly fathers but that of our Heavenly Father. It also got me thinking about moments in the bible scriptures where we read about children and their fathers being reunited. The first that came to mind was Joseph and his Father, son of Jacob, known for his coat of many colours and his rise to power in Egypt (Genesis 46:28-34). Jacob believed that his son was dead, yet Joseph, who had become a high official in Egypt, reveals his identity to his brothers who had come seeking food during a famine. Jacob is overjoyed to learn that his son is alive and in a position of power. The reunion takes place in the land of Goshen, where Jacob's family settles. As I started thinking and reading about this account of being reunited with the Father another biblical story came to mind.
