THERE ARE MANY ROADS (LONG POEM)

THERE ARE MANY ROADS
By Sarah Joy Holden

There are roads all around us:
Roads that are well travelled.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that are a costly mistake.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that lead to a dead end.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that are so strange.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that keep us connected.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that guide us home.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that are new and old.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that lead to adventure.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that aren't straight forward.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that are paved with grace.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that are straight and bend.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that test our patience.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that we've encountered.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that we have to navigate.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that are hard to find.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that all have a purpose.

There are roads all around us:
Roads that we walk with the Lord.
