It is with a joyful heart that I can annouce that Another of my poems has been accepted into Wheelsong Anthology 5;  Release date will be announced shortly. A percentage of the book sales will be donated directly to 'Save The Children Charity'. this is cause close to my heart. Please don't just buy it because I'm featured but to experience and enjoy all the fabulous other poets work featured.

With every book sold you are helping children in need across the world; especially in the most poverty stricken areas of the globe. We have so much when many have so little. Wheelsong tag line 'poetry against poverty' speaks volumes in the cause it is supporting.

Wheelsong has given me some great opportunities to gain my confidence to test the waters of having my work published. My dream one day is to have my books published in actual print.   I have found getting anything published is hard work and often soul destroying and is all about learning patience in the journey.  At the moment I have other lines in the fire that will be revealed in the coming months.

"Hi, how are you, how you doing?...." I can't believe it's been a week since I boarded a train to Criccieth at 9am. I know God was in it especially train travel and meeting new people (no anxiety - ptl). At 1am Sunday I wrote my story plus another little story (I don't write stories, so watch this space), Making it 8 stories written since last years retreat. GETTING PUBLISHED WITH KDP

Very recently several people have asked me about my experiences and knowledge of Kindle Direct Publishing (kdp for short). So I thought as I'm no professor in kdp we'd explore it together. I realise this may not be a subject for everyone, as most of my other blogs have been. So, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is a self-publishing platform that allows authors to publish and sell books on Amazon: There are no upfront costs or inventory orders required to publish with KDP. Authors retain full rights to their books, which is not typical with traditional publishing houses. As the Author can have direct access to their books on Amazon and can create a product detail page. As an Author you can make your books available to readers around the world. You have control over your book's content, design, price, audience. TEN YEARS A WRITER

  T oday I’m celebrating ten years since the start of my writing journey. It all started back in 2015. I had already many years of creativity behind me especially card making and embroidery. I never even considered ten years later I would become the writer I am today. It all started back in 2015, circumstances at the time weren’t great and often my frustrations would often be active or verbal. Several people in my home church including the pastor at the time Derek Hughes encouraged me to keep a written journal. It really helped me pen my frustrations down on paper than outwardly getting my frustrations out on others. During this season I really felt the presence of Jesus helping and guiding me.
