HOPE FOR THE WORLD

The following poem was written in response to the war in Gaza. Also inspired by Wheelsong Poetry Anthology five (out last week) all money from the sales of these books is going directly to 'Save The Children'. This is a charity close to my heart.  Enjoy the poem, buy the book, poetry against poverty; we can make a possitive difference.

HOPE FOR THE WORLD 

We cannot imagine what they face,
 because we're not in a war torn place. 
Daily you live in poverty and fear,
 wondering what hell you go through.

We sit here watching from afar,
 give to you a thought - a prayer.
We've no idea of your daily fear,
 It's far from being just and fair.

All wars of hate and selfish greed,
 man's fight of whose right or wrong.
Authorities ignore humanity need,
 in a fallen world, we each belong.

For aid conveys to reach all in need,
 by bringing a little relief and hope.
We pray the safety of the aid workers,
 who have sacrificed lives for other's.

May we learn to love one another,
 to show compassion for each other.
To come longside as we are able,
 accepting every race and colour.

Let us all, act justly and love mercy,
 diligently show each one kindness.
Treat others as we want to be treated,
 help the world understand unity together.

We're longing for a peaceful resolution,
 in lands of war, poverty, desecration.
Lord have mercy upon these nations,
 in countrys - less fortunate than us...

"Hi, how are you, how you doing?...." I can't believe it's been a week since I boarded a train to Criccieth at 9am. I know God was in it especially train travel and meeting new people (no anxiety - ptl). GETTING PUBLISHED WITH KDP

Very recently several people have asked me about my experiences and knowledge of Kindle Direct Publishing (kdp for short). So I thought as I'm no professor in kdp we'd explore it together. I realise this may not be a subject for everyone, as most of my other blogs have been. So, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is a self-publishing platform that allows authors to publish and sell books on Amazon: There are no upfront costs or inventory orders required to publish with KDP. Authors retain full rights to their books, which is not typical with traditional publishing houses. As the Author can have direct access to their books on Amazon and can create a product detail page. As an Author you can make your books available to readers around the world. You have control over your book's content, design, price, audience. TEN YEARS A WRITER

  T oday I’m celebrating ten years since the start of my writing journey. It all started back in 2015. I had already many years of creativity behind me especially card making and embroidery. I never even considered ten years later I would become the writer I am today. It all started back in 2015, circumstances at the time weren’t great and often my frustrations would often be active or verbal. Several people in my home church including the pastor at the time Derek Hughes encouraged me to keep a written journal. It really helped me pen my frustrations down on paper than outwardly getting my frustrations out on others. During this season I really felt the presence of Jesus helping and guiding me.
