At the beginning of the 20th century, two sisters from Ellesmere in Shropshire, had a vision to protect children and their rights. After the First World War ended, Britain kept up a blockade that left children in cities like Berlin and Vienna starving. Malnutrition was common and rickets were rife. An eye witness reported that "in hospitals there was nothing but paper bandages. Save The Children's foundation was set up in 1919. Save the Children's mission statement says  'that In the UK and globally, they make sure children keep safe, healthy and learning.'

Your  support through the sale of these books is vital to the work 'Save The Children' carries out everyday. Every penny counts, in keeping this vital work going. You can find out more about 'Save The Children's foundation by visiting their website (link below) and Wheelsong Books (link below).

As a creative writer and poet, both  these organisations are close to my heart.   Wheelsong especially has helped me enormously with my writing confidence and encouragement in my writing journey. I ask no more or less, thank you for you time and support.
